I agree with Francis. There is existing third hand smoke. The information below are ways on how to avoid third hand smoke exposure.
Ways on how to avoid third hand smoke exposure
First step: Eliminate third hand smoke from your immediate living area. Don’t allow smokers into your home because even they do not smoke there, the residue of carcinogens are on their shirt.
Second step: Don’t buy second hand stuff that was owned by smokers. If you bought one, then clean it thoroughly. Air purifier or the use of HEPA filtered vacuum may eliminate the particles from the air.
Third step: Don’t allow people who recently smoke to come close to your children. Keep distance from co-workers who just came from a smoke break.
Fourth step: Protect pregnant women and children from third hand smoke.
